Isabeau and Jeroen had their autumn wedding in Château du Biez in Pecq and remembering this day still puts a smile on my face…
Isabeau is the sister of last year’s groom Laurens (the beach wedding). Always so super nice that the same family knocks at your photography door twice! Marie & Laurens’ wedding was one the first weddings that my sister, Joke, played a role as wedding planner… and guess what… Isabeau and Jeroen knocked also at Joke’s WonderWeddings door. Both sisters so excited that we could cooperate for this dream autumn wedding!
Isabeau and Jeroen are both doctors. It kinds of runs in the family. Actually Jeroen is one of Laurens’ (also a doctor) best friends since years (Medicine is a long study…) So I guess Laurens could only approve that one of his best friends hooked up with his beautiful sister…
It was half October. The week before it rained cats and dogs, but that weekend, Indian Summer came… As Isabeau’s parents live very close to my parents-in-law in Bruges, I spent the night at my boyfriend’s parents and could benefit from 3′ driving time in the morning. We went shooting in the forest where my boyfriend, the dog and I go walking every time we spend a weekend there, so… a what a win!
Autumn sun was out, Isabeau was not too cold, and we could enjoy an hour between the colorful trees of Tillegembos. After the shoot we drove to Pecq Castle, where the Orangerie and the castle itself was decorated by my sister Joke. The temperatures were unbelievable for half October. It was thé last day the sun was out before autumn really kicked in.
I was so happy to be part of this day. Oh I love Indian Summers…
