Evelien and Gerd. Madly in love. Passionate about each other, passionate about the businesses they own. True creatives, beautiful souls.
It was a Sunday morning in April. A dark, rainy one. Evelien was worried, we exchanged some text messages and I tried to persuade her to continue with the shooting plans, although the forecast was bad. Like really bad. Driving from Leuven to De Haan with the freaky temperature of 3°C on my dashboard, with a frost sign notification. We started at 10 am, enjoyed some hesitating sun rays, and saw the sky become darker. From dark blue into grey into black.
I don’t have to mention how much Evelien suffered. But we nailed this, and we were so happy afterwards we did this. I guess this is a perfect example of embracing the weather, and not being afraid of some rain. I just loved the wind in Evelien’s beautiful hair. And luckily they liked the pictures and our crazy ideas as well. Back in the apartment, after 15 min being wrapped in a blanket and some hot chocolate, we all forgot how cold and soaked we were.
And I? I took my dog Floor for another rainy walk on the beach. Soaked again, but I didn’t care. Cause life is full of adventure! Enjoy!
